Text

Reading the Bible together

We open a book of the Bible and work through it a passage at a time, to “read, mark, learn and inwardly digest” it, as the old prayer book puts it. No experience needed, and every question welcome.

Questions

Good to know

Who's it for?

Students and young adults: Edge Hill, local colleges, and anyone in their late teens or twenties around Ormskirk.

Do I need to be a Christian?

Not at all. Some of us have followed Jesus for years, some are just curious. Every question is welcome.

Is this instead of church or the CU?

Neither. Head West is an extra. We'd love you to be part of a local church on Sunday mornings (St James meets at 10:30am) and to get stuck into the Christian Union on campus too.

What if I can't make every week?

Come when you can. Each evening stands on its own, and there'll always be pizza.

How much does it cost?

Nothing. The food is free.

What should I bring?

Just yourself. Bring a Bible if you have one; we'll have spares.

Can someone pray for me?

We'd love to. Send Gabriel a message on +44 7944 340 589 with whatever you'd like us to pray about, or see How can we pray for you?
