Who we are.
The people behind Head West, how to get in touch, and where the name comes from.

A welcome
“Welcome to Head West! Uni is a brilliant, full-on time, and it's also when a lot of us start asking the big questions for ourselves. Sunday evenings are a place to do that with friends, over pizza, with the Bible open.
At the heart of it all is the good news about Jesus: that he is God's Son, who died for us and rose again. Whether you've followed Jesus for years, are new to faith, or are simply curious, you're very welcome. Come as you are, and bring your questions.”

Prayer
How can we pray for you?
We'd love to pray for you, about anything at all: exams, family, friendships, health, faith, or something you can't quite put into words. Send Gabriel a message with whatever you'd like us to pray about. A first name is plenty.

The name
Why “Head West”?
Partly, it's a nod to Westhead, the village where we meet.
It's also a picture from the Bible. Right at the start, when people turn away from God, they leave the place where they lived with him and head east, further and further from home. Heading west is a picture of turning round and coming back.
We believe Jesus is the one who makes that way back to God possible. Head West is a place to explore that for yourself, whatever you believe.
The way home is west.
