Finding church at uni
Moving to uni is a brilliant time to find a church family. Here's what we'd encourage, whoever you are.
Your first Sunday

Come in by the tower door at St James, Vicarage Lane. Someone will say hello, and you don't need to know anyone.
We finish at eight. Come back next week if you'd like. There's no sign-up and no pressure.
Questions students ask
Yes. St James Church in Westhead is just the other side of Ruff Lane from campus, on Vicarage Lane. It meets on Sunday mornings at 10:30am, and Head West meets there on Sunday evenings, 6–8pm in term time.
Of course. Lots of people come to ask questions and see what Christianity is about. You won't be put on the spot.
No. It's for students and young adults from Edge Hill, local colleges and around Ormskirk.

No. The pizza is free, and so is everything else.
